Church Service Publications
Once a year, for the 14th Sunday after Trinity, the brochure for the church service on “Just Community Between Men and Women in the Church” is published. In 2008 the topic was: “Open your eyes, open your ears, open your mouth – Realising and overcoming domestic violence, 2. Samuel 13,1 – 22”. The brochure was prepared by a working group in the Church District of Halle.

It Takes Two
Hoyce Daniel Mbowe writes in her article about Tanzania that Kumalasari Meiji Christina Lumbantobing speaks about the struggle for a sincere and honest partnership and about strengthening and encouraging those people who still live there. Dated May 2008, but in reality only in 2009, the book about the ordination of women in the UEM member churches was published. Gesine v. Kloeden-Freudenberg, Heike Koch, Brunhild v. Local, Sonia Parera-Hummel, Liz Vuadi Vibila and the UEM Women's Working Group have issued comprehensive documentation about the situation of women’s ordination in the Evangelical churches of three continents. The book is available through book stores or may be obtained directly from the UEM in Wuppertal.
