Argentina – Uruguay – Paraguay
Since 1964/5 there has been a partnership with the Evangelical Church Rio de la Plata, the Iglesia Evangelica del Rio de la Plata (IERP) in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay – which is an Evangelical Church with a strong tradition of emigration from Germany. The partnership with the Iglesia Evangelica del Rio de la Plata is accompanied by the "La Plata Forum", which normally organises an annual public seminar with church members on current issues.
USA
The Evangelical Church of Westphalia (EKvW) maintains a partnership with two synods of the United Church of Christ (UCC) in North America. On the one hand the relationship with the Ohio Synod which has been formalised since 1989 by a partnership contract, on the other hand it is a relationship with the Indiana-Kentucky-Synod of the United Church of Christ (UCC) in the USA. The partnerships are supported by the UCC Subcommittee of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia. Advanced training courses and information events are organised at regular intervals.
