Migrant Churches

Migrant churches are for all migrant communities who have come to Germany from different countries around the world and who practice their faith here in their own congregation. Migration churches cannot be considered as a new phenomenon. More than 400 years ago Dutch Protestants settled in our region and founded their own congregation in Cologne, later they were followed by persecuted Huguenots and Waldensians. In Germany the first Ortho­dox con­gregations of Russian and Armenian exiles emerged in the early 20^th century.
